Last month we detailed the current Halifax developments for sale! Many of these currently available developments are either almost sold out, selling fast, or about to start selling. Lovett Lake

 

The proposed development, Lovett Lake Estates is a low-medium density residential development of 306 dwellings composed of single-unit, semi-detached, and townhouses. The majority of these proposed dwellings will be composed of two stories and can be customized to the character of the individual lots.

Kiln Creek

 

Kiln Creek is a new community development in Lantz, Nova Scotia that is anticipating approximately 1500 new homes, townhomes, and apartments by 2030. This development is described on their website as follows:

Indigo Shores

 

Indigo Shores is a residential community with planned expansion on McCabe Lake, only minutes from Halifax and Bedford. Read their description below to gain a sense of this neighbourhood:

Seton Ridge

 

Seton Ridge is Halifax’s new urban community. This development is planned to use the land of the former Sisters of Charity Motherhouse site, which is just 2km from the Halifax Peninsula. This development will include 175+ sing family dwellings on the peripherally, and multi-unit mixed residential and commercial properties in the center. Read below how this new community is described on their website:

“Project plans for this development are currently underway to create a vibrant, sustainable community. The site plan proposes the development of 2,400 ± housing units, including 175 ± single-family dwellings.

A town center will be located in the heart of the site, containing the highest buildings with over 31,000 ± sq ft of integrated podium retail. The center plans feature restaurants, a wine bar, banks, and other small-scale retail which will meet almost every need of new residents and those in the surrounding communities.

A community center is included as part of the proposal, within one of the mixed commercial-residential buildings. Its ownership and responsibility with regard to programming have yet to be determined.

The proposal includes several parks and public open and green spaces and fantastic views of the Bedford Basin and the city.”
