Sales are down slightly for Single Family Homes in comparison to this time last year. We suspect that this is due to the limited inventory we are experiencing: Only 373 single family homes for sale in all of Halifax! With a population of more than 400,000 residents, this is unheard of!
Both condos and single family homes have increased average sale prices in comparison to this time last year, and have reduced their number of days on market significantly. On average, condos and homes are selling in a little over two weeks!
We are set to sell out of the current inventory completing in less than a month if no new listings were to hit the market! Buyers are on the hunt!
