We currently have under 500 active listings in all of Halifax (single-family homes and condos combined). This is very limited in comparison to past years. Buyers, it’s competitive out there. Most homes have multiple offers and are sold over asking. For your best chance of success, find an experienced REALTOR® to help you navigate this market.
The number of sales has increased in comparison to last year in both single-family homes and condos. This is consistent with the past few months. Most homes and condos that hit the market are being sold quickly. In under two months, all of the inventory we currently have will be sold, if no other properties came to market.
The average home and condo are sold in under 60 days. This has decreased from last year, meaning buyers are purchasing at even faster rates.
Sellers, the market is still in your favour. This won’t last forever. Take advantage of the current circumstances and get your property on the market. You have a great chance of making some serious profit.
